Welcome to Oshi
Your rikishi, on your schedule
In Japanese fan culture your oshi is the one you cheer for, whatever happens. Oshi turns that into a sumo app: pick your wrestler, then follow their basho from your Lock Screen, your Home Screen and your wrist.
Tournaments run in the Tokyo afternoon, which is the middle of the night for much of the world. Oshi holds every result back until you tap, so you can watch the highlights first and still feel the bout.

FAQ
Questions fans ask
How do I add sumo widgets to my iPhone Lock Screen?
Install Oshi and pick your rikishi first. Then touch and hold the Lock Screen, tap Customize, choose the Lock Screen, and add Oshi from the widget list. Home Screen widgets work the same way from the Home Screen's edit mode.
How does Oshi avoid spoilers?
Every result is sealed until you tap Reveal, in the app, in widgets and in the Live Activity. Notifications say a result is ready in the same words whether your oshi won or lost, and share cards hide outcomes unless you choose otherwise.
What is an oshi?
Oshi (推し) is the Japanese fan word for the person you support most. In the app it's the rikishi you follow, and everything on your widgets and dashboard is built around them.
Is Oshi free?
Yes, Oshi is free to download. Oshi Yokozuna, a subscription or one-time lifetime purchase, unlocks every widget and theme, the Live Activity, photo widgets and your full pick history. Oshi Ozeki is a one-time purchase that adds career stats and more widget themes.
When are the sumo tournaments?
There are six grand tournaments a year, in January, March, May, July, September and November. Each runs fifteen days starting on the second Sunday of the month, with the top-division bouts in the late afternoon Japan time.
How does the daily pick'em work?
Each basho day you call the winners of the last five bouts before 14:00 JST. Correct picks score points, upsets and the final musubi bout score extra, and your streak carries over from day to day. It's for fun only, with no wagering and no prizes.
Does Oshi work on Apple Watch?
Yes. Oshi has a watch app and complications that show your oshi's record and keep results sealed, using the rikishi you chose on your iPhone.
Where does the sumo data come from?
Banzuke, schedules and results come from public sources, mainly Sumo-API. Oshi is an independent fan app and isn't affiliated with or endorsed by the Japan Sumo Association.
